Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

The maintenance technician oversees the installation and maintenance of PHS, Laser, and support equipment ensuring smooth operation. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular preventive maintenance, following maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift premium

Essential Job Functions:

Servicing and maintaining equipment including hot stamp press, lasers, air compressors, chillers, generators, and all production related equipment.
Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Conducting routine preventative maintenance and safety checks.
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Installing new production equipment.
Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.

Education/Experience Prerequisites:

5 years work experience as an industrial maintenance technician
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
Knowledge of hydraulic and controls systems
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Basic computer and report writing skills
Good communication skills
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
Good time-management skills
